Liverpool F.C. International Academy Utah is offering youngsters a first step into soccer with the launch of a brand-new pre-academy program.
A series of four six-week sessions will be held for budding players aged three to seven years-old, starting on August 21st and continuing through to April 2018.
The program will be an opportunity for youngsters to learn The Liverpool Way, based on four core principles that Liverpool FC was built on over 125 years.
Those principles include Ambition, Commitment, Dignity, Unity and help to inspire love for the game while improving skills and confidence.
Wayne Scholes, CEO of Liverpool F.C. International Academy Utah, said: “I am so excited to see our pre-academy program offer youngsters a route into the wonderful game of soccer.
“Here at Liverpool F.C. International Academy Utah, we want every young player we see to learn The Liverpool Way and benefit from values that have served The Reds to well over 125 years.
“We live in a beautiful part of the world, with fantastic facilities that all youngsters can use to learn soccer. On and off the field, taking part in sport has so many benefits for a growing child.”
The program has been specifically designed for players in the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 age brackets and will teach soccer in a fun environment.
The four six-week sessions will be held on the following dates:
Fall 1: Aug 21st - Sept 29th
Fall 2: Oct 9th - Nov 17th
Winter: Jan 15th - Mar 2nd
Spring: Mar 12th - Apr 20th
Daren Woolstenhulme, General Manager of Liverpool F.C. International Academy Utah, said: “We have worked extremely hard to make sure our pre-academy program provides a safe and primarily fun learning environment for youngsters who want to learn to play soccer.
“We want to make sure soccer is an enjoyable way to learn essential new skills, both on off the pitch. That is why The Liverpool Way will be a key part of that learning process for players.
“There is every opportunity for youngsters to progress onto our teams spread across Utah and enjoy meeting new friends, while playing soccer. This program is a great way to do that.”
The cost is $180 per individual session or $640 for all four sessions. There will be payment plan options available to help spread out the cost. Each session will contain ten sixty minute training times to be held once or twice a week.
All players will receive a training top and a ball. All costs are included and there will not be any surprise fees.
